Pilot Participation Agreement

Pilot version 1.0 · Last updated: [effective date — set at launch]

These terms govern your participation in Exploraise's pilot programme. Exploraise is provided by Greeker Labs (“Exploraise”, “we”, “us”). By participating you also agree to our Pilot Privacy Notice, which forms part of this agreement.

This is a pilot programme

You have been invited to participate in Exploraise's pilot. Exploraise is not yet publicly available. By participating, you are helping us test and improve the product before it launches.

The pilot is free. There is no charge to participate and no payment information is collected.

The pilot runs for a limited period and ends at our discretion. When it ends we will contact you about what happens to your data.

In plain English

  • You are agreeing to use Exploraise as a pilot participant, understanding it is a product under active development.
  • Exploraise is an AI-guided pre-counselling tool. It is not a substitute for professional career advice.
  • Your child's session is private. You will never see their responses. Only synthesised insights appear in the report — never their exact words or yours.
  • During the pilot we retain the data we collect. Deleting a child or your account removes it from the product straight away, but we don't permanently delete data during the pilot. Hard account deletion is not available during the pilot.
  • You can withdraw from the pilot at any time. During the pilot, withdrawal deactivates your data immediately (a soft delete); it is not permanently erased until after the pilot.
  • Feedback is a required part of the pilot's testing (it becomes optional after launch).

This summary is a reading aid. The full agreement below is operative.

1. What Exploraise is — and what it isn't

Exploraise is a pre-counselling tool. It uses AI-guided conversations with a parent or guardian and their child to generate a report exploring the child's natural strengths and presenting honest information about matched career options.

Exploraise is not:

  • A substitute for professional career counselling, psychological assessment, or educational advice
  • A diagnostic tool of any kind
  • A guarantee or prediction of any career or educational outcome
  • A finished product — you are testing a pilot version that is still being improved

The report is generated by an AI system. It reflects what came through in the sessions and is a starting point for family conversations. Like any AI system, it has limitations and may not always get things right. We ask pilot participants to approach the report with this in mind and to share feedback where something feels off.

2. Who can participate

You may join the pilot if you are:

  • A parent or legal guardian of a child aged 14–17
  • At least 18 years old
  • Based in India
  • Able to enter into a legally binding agreement under Indian law
  • Participating by personal invitation from Exploraise

You may not participate on behalf of a child without being their parent or legal guardian. Children participate through your account via a private session link you generate for them.

3. What you're agreeing to as a pilot participant

By accepting this agreement, you confirm that you:

  • Are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose data you submit
  • Have read and understood the Pilot Privacy Notice
  • Understand this is a pilot and that the product is still being developed
  • Will provide honest, thoughtful responses in your session — the quality of the report depends on it
  • Will share feedback if something feels inaccurate, missing, or off — that is the purpose of a pilot
  • Will not share the report publicly or use it for commercial purposes
  • Will keep your account credentials secure

4. Your child's participation

When you add a child, you are asked to confirm the following. Their session cannot begin until you do:

  • Your child is aged 14–17
  • Your child is willing to participate — Exploraise works best when participation is voluntary
  • You have explained to your child that their session is private and that their responses will not be shared with you
  • You consent to Exploraise collecting and processing your child's session data to generate the report, as described in the Pilot Privacy Notice

Your child will also see their own privacy notice and provide their own assent before their session begins. Both your consent and your child's assent are required before their session is unlocked.

5. What you get

As a pilot participant you receive:

  • Your guided AI session (approximately 20 minutes)
  • Your child's private guided AI session (approximately 20 minutes)
  • A full report with matched career options
  • A downloadable PDF of the report
  • Access to the Exploraise dashboard for the duration of the pilot

All of this is provided free of charge.

6. Pilot duration and what happens at the end

The pilot runs for a limited period and ends at our discretion.

When the pilot ends, we will contact you to confirm what happens to your data. Where the production product is available, you will be able to migrate to a production account under the production Terms of Service and Privacy Notice; this will require fresh consent under production terms, including accepting the production data-retention policy.

We do not permanently delete data during the pilot. What happens to pilot data after the pilot — including any deletion — is governed by the production privacy notice and its data-retention policy.

7. Withdrawing from the pilot

You can withdraw from the pilot at any time by contacting us at support@exploraise.com. You can also delete a child's data yourself from Account settings → Children & data.

Withdrawal means:

  • Your account, sessions, report, scorecard, and all associated data are deactivated immediately and no longer accessible. During the pilot this is a soft delete: the underlying data is retained, we do not permanently delete it during the pilot, and hard account deletion is not available during the pilot.
  • You will not be able to access the report after withdrawal
  • There is no penalty for withdrawing — pilots are voluntary

We will confirm by email within [X business days] of your withdrawal request.

8. Feedback

As a pilot participant, you will be asked for feedback through in-product forms as part of the testing process. Because testing the product is the purpose of the pilot, providing this feedback is a required part of participation during the pilot. After public launch, feedback will be optional. We may also reach out by email with follow-up questions; email follow-up is optional.

Feedback is used to improve Exploraise before launch. It is treated as pilot data and is retained and handled on the same basis as your other pilot data.

9. Privacy

Your data during the pilot is handled as described in the Pilot Privacy Notice, which forms part of this agreement. Key points:

  • Your child's session responses are never shared with you, and the report never reproduces your child's or your own verbatim words
  • During the pilot we retain the data we collect; deleting removes it from the product immediately, and we don't permanently delete data during the pilot
  • No payment data is collected
  • We do not use session data to train AI models; our AI provider is Anthropic (see the Pilot Privacy Notice for how it retains data)
  • Full details of what we collect, why, and who processes it are in the Pilot Privacy Notice

10. What Exploraise asks of pilot participants

Pilots work best when participants engage genuinely. We ask that you:

  • Be honest in your session — the report reflects what you share. Partial or guarded responses produce less useful output.
  • Encourage your child to be honest in theirs — their privacy is protected, and the report is more useful when they speak freely.
  • Tell us what didn't work — if the report feels generic, inaccurate, or unhelpful, please say so. That feedback is the point of a pilot.
  • Don't share the report publicly — the report is generated for your family. Please keep it within your household.

11. Limitations and disclaimers

  • Exploraise is a pilot product under active development. It may have bugs, incomplete features, or outputs that don't yet reflect what the final product will do.
  • The report is AI-generated and reflects what came through in the sessions. It is a starting point, not a verdict.
  • Career information in the report — including earnings and education pathways — is approximate and may not reflect your child's specific circumstances.
  • Exploraise is not a medical or psychological tool. If you have concerns about your child's wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.

12. Safeguarding

Exploraise has basic safeguarding in place for the pilot. If your child shares something during their session that suggests they may be at risk, Exploraise's AI is instructed to respond with a supportive message and to point them to a relevant helpline (in India, the child helpline on 1098). It does not assess, escalate, or report what is shared. More comprehensive safeguarding processes are deferred to after the pilot. Session content will not be shared with you.

On human review: the report is generated automatically and is not reviewed by a person before it reaches you. Our internal team may separately review conversations and reports to analyse and improve the product; this does not change the promise that your child's session content is never shared with you.

If you have concerns about your child's wellbeing, please speak with them directly or contact a qualified professional.

13. Limitation of liability

Exploraise is provided free of charge during the pilot. To the extent permitted by Indian law, Exploraise's liability to pilot participants is limited. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the report, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the pilot.

Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under applicable Indian consumer law.

14. Changes to this agreement

If we need to make material changes to this agreement during the pilot, we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may withdraw from the pilot.

15. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of [city — to be confirmed].
